Sacramento Public Library
A collaborative rebranding of our local library system
Rebranding the Sacramento Public Library was a collaborative effort between myself and my classmates Siah Harper, Sara Harris, and Dabin Song.
The current brand system in place for the library is visually inconsistent in both application and with the goals and mission of the library. We sought to develop an identity that captured the central tone of voice for the library, which was classified as: adaptable, metropolitan, inspiring, resourceful, and introspective.
The brand development was a fully collective effort, including logo conceptualization, business systems, and brand book development. Once these efforts were finalized, we divided the remaining touchpoints among each other to be completed.
The pieces I was most involved in creating were the social media marketing images, interior wayfinding, and business stationery. I also contributed various assets and patterns that are utilized throughout the system.
